Group & School Visits

Free activities for children with lots to see and do

Groups

At the Museum of the Broads, we aim to bring the stories of the Broads alive to all.  We believe that learning and discovering new experiences continue throughout our lives and the Museum has activities, trails and different types of interpretation to help our visitors engage with those stories.

If you are part of a group, for children, young people or adults of any age, the Museum is a great place to visit.  Discounted rates are available to pre-booked groups of 10 or more. We can also offer an introductory talk and a boat trip.  There is a large picnic area and pre-booked sandwich lunches may also be available to order.

Please contact the Curator at: curator@museumofthebroads.org.uk or call 01692 581681.

Schools

We offer all teachers a free pre-visit.  To find out what we can offer your class, please download our Learning Resource Pack:

Group Social Evenings

Does your group normally meet in the evening and you’re looking for something different to do?

You can book the Museum exclusively from 5.30pm – 8pm.  Bring your own drinks and food, sit by the river, and if you wish, take a trip on our electric boat £5 (30 minutes) per person.

Hot and cold drinks, ice cream and confectionary available to purchase from the Museum.

The Museum will be open, we can offer a quiz, and you are welcome to offer prizes.

The cost is £40 for a group of up to 20 people.  Additional people are £2 each, up to a maximum of 40.  Booking and payment must be made in advance and evening dates are subject to availability.  This offer is for evenings only as stated.

Please contact the Curator at: curator@museumofthebroads.org.uk or call 01692 581681.
