Find us at The Poor’s Staithe, Stalham, NR12 9DA, just off the A149 at the turning to Richardson’s Boatyard.

See our special exhibition, ‘Wish You Were Here! Holidays on the Broads’
Find out how tourism changed the Broads. Discover how railways brought holidays to ordinary people, see some of the early travel adverts, find a surprising link to the hovercraft, and, following the 200th anniversary of the Museum’s own waterside buildings, trace the history of staithes using Stalham as a worthy example.


Boat Trips
Take a trip on Falcon, our unique Victorian steam boat, or on Marsh Harrier, our Edwardian style electric launch.

We have education packs, worksheets and trails and can tailor the visit to suit your class. Free pre-visit for teachers.
