Opening Times

The Museum is now closed for 2019.  We re-open on Wed 25 March 2020.  Open from Sunday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:30. The Museum is closed on Saturdays.

Find us at The Poor’s Staithe, Stalham, NR12 9DA, just off the A149 at the turning to Richardson’s Boatyard.

See our 2019 exhibition, ‘The Lost Railway of the Broads’

The railway of the Broads ran from Yarmouth, through Broadland, to Melton Constable. From there, people and goods could travel to anywhere in the country. It ran for over 70 years, but closed in February 1959.
