We bring the stories of the Broads alive with unique displays, trails, activities and special exhibitions.  Take a river trip to immerse yourself in the Broads landscape and spot the local wildlife!  Families, groups and dogs most welcome.

Bring the Kids

Discover the story of the Broads, its people, its wildlife, its landscape and its boats. We can’t offer some hands on activities at the moment , but by using your smart phone, and by taking our trail sheets, you can still enjoy many of the Broadland stories.

Bring the Dog

Dogs are welcome, no additional entrance fee.  Please keep on a lead.



The Museum has four display buildings, and an outside display area, a picnic area and the river frontage.  We offer boat trips too!  Our shop sells Broads items plus hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks. Free entry to the gift shop. Please comply with Government guidelines to limit the spread of Covid whilst on site.  Thank you.

Group & School Visits

We welcome adult and youth groups and offer special rates.  There are trails and themed activities for children and tours or short talks can be arranged.
